We have more good news from IMMCO HQ, and it’s a two-parter!
2023 started off strongly with an office expansion in Kochi to accommodate increasing demands for IMMCO’s design work. Corresponding with this increase in demand, we are pleased to announce the completion of our 3 Millionth home designed for FTTP (Fiber-to-the Premise) networks.
“As one of the earliest supporters of FTTH design, IMMCO surpassed more than 2 million FTTH passings designed last year, and in just a year has designed a million more! In the last year, rural activity has rapidly increased as RDOF and state broadband grants are supporting fiber buildouts to unserved areas – and more is to come with the BEAD program to provide billions of dollars in funding shortly,” said Keith Hayes, CEO of IMMCO, Inc.
This rate of completion looks as though it is only bound to heighten with the second part of our big news: IMMCO has officially opened a satellite office in Hyderabad, India.
To support the growth of both our current customers and newly acquired partners, we have opened a satellite facility in Hyderabad to take advantage of the large skilled labor pool in a major India technology hub,” explained Hayes. “The Hyderabad office is IMMCO’s sixth office expansion in the last year, and we are planning more as the need for skilled fiber designers, cable-HFC technologists, and Right-of-Way Permit experts are increasing and the telecom network operators and engineering partners have grown to trust the quality and ability to scale that IMMCO has developed over more than two decades” said Mike McCracken, CEO of GTS, IMMCO’s parent company.
